Penshurst Place

There are so many wonderful places to visit in and around Tunbridge Wells, and this week we headed out with our friends from Oomph Wellness to beautiful Penshurst Place in Tonbridge. With the building steeped in history and surrounding gardens loveling tended, it is an enchanting place for all visitors.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed looking around the gift shop, and at this time of year, it is even more magical with so many ornate and whimsical decorations for sale. Residents carefully looked through them all, and selected three decorations, one for each unit – which we’re sure will sit in prime place on the Christmas tree.

Once we all had a good wander around the shop we rested our feet in the cafe, with everyone tucking into a delicious cup of tea and slice of cake. There wasn’t a crumb left in site, a lovely time had by all.
