Furry Friends At Tunbridge Wells Care Centre

Last week, residents at Tunbridge Wells Care Centre were treated to a heartwarming visit from Naomi of Animalia Encounters, who brought along three delightful animal guests, Sapphire the rabbit, Tuppence the tortoise, and Baked Bean the guinea pig. The lounge was filled with smiles as residents spent time holding and gently stroking the animals, enjoying the soothing comfort and companionship they brought.

Animal therapy has proven benefits for wellbeing, and this visit was no exception. Watching the residents light up as they interacted with Sapphire, Tuppence and Baked Bean showed how much happiness and calm such moments can bring. These special encounters not only spark conversation and laughter but also encourage connection and relaxation, which are at the heart of life at Tunbridge Wells Care Centre.
We’re grateful to Naomi and her furry and shelled friends for such a joyful afternoon. Events like this are just one way we continue to make life engaging and meaningful for our residents.
