Job Duties
Develop high-quality written care plans.
Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and depth in all written pieces.
Collaborate with team members to refine content.
Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, and adherence to style guidelines.
Engage in fact-checking to verify information and evidence triangulation of information.
Employ word processing software (PCS) effectively to produce polished documents.
All Careplans need to be written in a good standard to obtain sign off by the manager
Review of care plans, ensuring involvement of residents / representatives at all times.
Develop positive, helpful and caring relationships with residents and their families as required.
Report to your Line Manager any changes or deterioration you observe in the health and general condition of residents, any personal or emotional problems that you become aware of and any matter which has or could potentially have a bearing on the overall well-being of the residents
Be aware of and comply with Health and Safety and Infection Control regulations and report any actual or potential hazards to your Line Manager.
Adhere to the GSCC Code of Conduct.
Be aware of the CQC Fundamental Standards.
Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Take every opportunity to improve your skills and knowledge both by self-development and by participating in training events organised both inside the home and by outside sources.
Follow at all times the home’s written policies and procedures.
Assist the development of the company’s philosophy of person centred care and strive to achieve associated goals.
Understand and promote the Company’s Core Values.
Weekly contacted hours as agreed with the Registered Manager, to be worked as specified on the Home’s Staffing Rotas, including weekends and public holidays.
All shifts are waking shifts.

To complete any mandatory training specified during the induction period and thereafter to ensure that you are competent to fulfil the responsibilities of your role
Specific Qualifications/ Skills/ Attributes
Care Plan writing: Ability to create care plans in PCS computer software.
Creative Writing: A flair for storytelling that captivates readers’ attention.
Proofreading: Strong editing skills to ensure error-free content.
Fact Checking: Diligence in verifying facts and sources for credibility.
Excellent communication skills: Ability to articulate ideas clearly both in writing and verbally
Preferably NVQ qualified to Level 2 /3 Health & Social Care
Possesses a professional, reliable and flexible attitude
Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
Respectful, courteous, patience and compassionate nature
Strong communication Skills both written and oral
