The Tunbridge Wells Inner Wheel has kindly given us 20 handmade ‘twiddle muffs’. These hand muffs have interesting items such as buttons and ribbons attached to them. They are great for people with dementia to keep restless hands active. Twiddle muffs are visually stimulating with different textures which gives a great all-round sensory experience.

We shared the twiddle muffs throughout our home and our dementia unit will particularly benefit. A big thank you to Tunbridge Wells Inner Wheel for all their hard work and kind donation.

The Inner Wheel is one of the largest voluntary women’s service organisations in the World. It has over 100,000 members from more than 104 countries across the globe. • promote true friendship
  • encourage the ideals of personal service
